Thanks
Hi Aidan, thanks for taking the time to respond to my Airstill questions on the "other" forum. As I said, you have to start somewhere and your explanations mean I now know what the terms mean. Most forums use them as if we should all know what they're talking about :0) Many abbreviations are also used which don't help "newbies".
At least I have a starting point now and can begin to enjoy the wonders of distilling.
I intend progressing from the Airstill to a 25 ltr electric boiler with separate pot and reflux heads - screw-on types (my Christmas present to me). That should enable me to make some good "clear stuff" for the wife's penchant for Pernod and also allow me to hopefully make a passable single malt Scotch, which is my favourite tipple.
Thanks agin for your guidance and here's to the "Spirit" of Christmas.

Re: Thanks
Welcome to what is probably the best and friendliest distilling forum in the world.
Anything you're not sure of just ask or even send a PM to any member who appears knowledgeable in the subject you want answers for and you'll get the assist you need.
We're a happy friendly lot here, no pretenders, no peacocks, no egos, just distillers.
