Anyone any idea if porridge oats would be any good in a wash for nutrients?
Just asking as they are dirt cheap

They work, but lentils seem to be better.

Historially, people around the world made alcohol out of what was available. Scotland has always had oats but they are not used in the production of whiskey. I used to know why but can't remember.

Would make a hell of a mess anyway.

Thanks for the input people. Won't bother with them.
Got 60ltr of Aidan's lentil wash going at the minute.
