How long to keep the initial temp of your wash

Hey, i was wondering, following the instructions on the yeast packs, it mentions that the yeast should be pitched into the wash at 30-40 C depending on the yeast.

Now, how long that temp should be holded before bringing the temp down to the most optimal, around 20 C?

My yeast says to rehydrate in water at that temperature. e.g. in a small glass of water. I don't warm the whole wash.

Hi mate welcome
When using vodka star I pitch at about 30 degrees then chuck the brew bin in my brew room to drop to low 20s
No need to maintain higher temp its just to kickstart the dried yeast I think
