Threads that read as nonsense..

Postby Easydrinker » Wed May 23, 2018 10:28 pm

There are a couple more of these now, as I have just banned a member that was only here a week, this removed all of his posts, leaving other posts in the threads that may now make little sense.
Maybe one day I will find time to tidy the board by sorting them.

In a week this member wrote, or cut and pasted volumes of drivel, and was getting under the skin of various members here.

I tried to cut him some slack, and he repaid me by cut and pasting my own response to him, under his own user name, with no additional text.

If I suspect any new member of being this person attempting to rejoin under another name, then they will disappear very fast.
Two other recent members appeared to show their true colours in these same threads. If you know the De Nero Fokker Movies, then you know what I am doing.

We really do try to be THE friendly site here, and we welcome new members and all our other more casual guests.

One of my functions here is try and keep the site running smoothly.
I do what I can.

Robert.

An edit at 23.58.
Skimming the board, I see more than a little disquiet caused by he who shall not be named.
Can I ask that all take a deep breath, and another cup of Tea, or glass of Rum, depending upon your time zone and personal preference.
We were here first and used to rub along. ;)
There is no ONE way.

Well done, the reason I have become an active member of this site is because I have found it friendly, not judgmental and helpful unlike some other sites on the net. Keep up the good work.

Well done. No an easy decision to put a stop to a new member I am sure. Keep up the good work.

Something about that guy didn't add up. 20 years of reading about distilling and the furthest he got was an Airstill he was afraid of??

"gaza, the nonsense instructor" does have a certain ring to it.
Not sure that I would want similar on my gravestone. ;)

I don't know. I bugger off to Franceland for a month and all hell breaks loose!

BTW the Limoges distillery and museum is a must and it's FREE! and costing no pennies!!...unless like me, you succumb to a bottle or two of Seve Central :) ::)
If I wanted patience, i'd have trained to be a doctor.

Well I don't manage to visit frequently enough, as I missed this. Either way, if the person was being a pain, then binning them is fine by me.
