Today, I shall mostly be listening to..........
The Smiths, Morrissey, Marilyn Manson, Slade........
I just wish it was possible to attach a link to the songs (currently "What difference does it make" is playing, the best track the Smiths ever produced IMO).......
Nope, that's finished and "My friend Stan" has started (gonna cue up Marilyn Manson version of Tainted Love next)........

It is strange how tastes, and availability change.
While I now possess the sort of music library that I could only dream about when I was younger, (the Virgin Music store on Oxford street in London used to be the centre of my world), I now have a dedicated computer, just to house the music, wired into the Hi Fi.
I am able to call up almost anything that I have ever heard at the press of a few buttons, If I don't have it, a few more button presses, and I do.
I find myself listening to less from the archives and more new stuff that I discover.
And music is now everywhere, much is rubbish, some is good.
I try to manage a live gig at least once a month of someone that may be up and coming.
Expensive one happening next weekend, C2C hits Glasgow.
Those tickets were not cheap!
I have never disposed of a vinyl record without ripping it to CD or Mp3.
The best music format remains, for me ,LIVE!
Robert.
