stripping run

Hi all, just got a query for you all. I am currently half way through a stripping run. my question is this, the strip is coming out at approx 55% even though i'm taking just over 1500ml. When i come to do the spirit run should i dilute the strip down to approx 30% before i distill?

55% is flammable. 30% is not. And you get better heads/hearts/tails separation at 30% (or so I am told).
