Kind of pinched from another forum but the idea is to complete the sentence started by the topic title with something that has happened to you today

For instance you could say

"Today was a good day because... I won on the lottery"

or

"Today was a good day because... a bottle of Ron Zacappa 23 rum arrived in the post".

Ok, me first (funny that...)

Today was a good day because

I did a spirit run on my first vodkastar and it seems to have gone well. I also blended this years strawberry spirit.

This is the third year I've made it and it's the best yet. Even better is that I've got 8 litres of it!!

And I've got a glass of it now Mmmmm
