Tesco direct have a sale on most of their homebrew stuff, make sure you select 'sold by' in the filters and choose tesco to see all the cheap stuff.

Thanks Brewhunter. The Tesco stuff is good price anyway. Wine kits really good value with the discount.

Just ordered a 2" in line sight glass from the bay, only £35 with free postage from China! Search for user "double-turbo", they have all manner of stainless pipes / tees / reducers for triclamps at a very reasonable price.

Ooo handy to know. Been wondering, as I've got ideas of a packed column but with a couple of sight glasses (more for dramatic effect than function).......

Was thinking of it mostly as perhaps a 3 inch column, but not sure yet. Some 2 inch sight glasses and 3in possibly more, packed sections would give it the look of an exhaust expansion chamber on an old 2 stroke motorbike (had an RD250 some years back, the expansion chamber made it so that I could get the front wheel up in the first 3 gears)......

I've used D-Turbo before...there's also chaoling017 I had my last bits & bobs from him...he's a little better price wise.

Anyone live near Plymouth? This could make someone a nice little thumper with little alterations

That is a pretty little item, if you don't worry about the solder, which was probably used copiously.

Maybe a little old to have been using lead free solder for that piece but I'm sure it will clean up nicely with a little scrubbing!
This next one however, looks like something Myles has invented! It would definitely have the wow factor if it was converted

Pretty indeed, but that's a hell of a long way west (not as bad as Lands end, but it's about a 5 hour drive from here)........

Get Er Brewed are currently giving away 33 litre fermenters with selected wine kits, as per an email I received this morning. Offer end at the end of April, you have to put "FREE FERMENTERS" in the comments box when checking out with a "30 day wine kit"
