Hi Paul

Welcome, I'm sure you'll have fun on here, I've not brewed a drop of AG since I built my still, I'd be interested in your Pilsner recipe if you don't mind sharing, it's getting colder now and my garage will be cold enough for lagering over the winter so might make s couple of batches

no prob anarvin the mrs dont like it to strong around the 3% mark so i do
pilsner malt 2816g
carapils malt 400g
flaked maize 400g
brewing sugar 400g
20g saaz hops in the boil for 1hr
this is for a 5 gallon batch and one i use alot and we find it needs 6 to 7 weeks in a bottle to carbonate properly cos the mrs needs the bubbles lol

It's Nirvana backwards, I bet no ones ever noticed though lol

My favourite lager of all time was Heiniken back in the old days, that was only 3.4% if I remember correctly, I'll probably add a little more malt to get 3.8%, I'll lager it in a cornie keg then force carbonate, Cheers for the recipe :)
