Re: What I Did Today
I don’t like to do too much in a day so I will see how I feel after that.
You'll need a drink !!

Re: What I Did Today
Had to go out last night so didn’t manage to get more than 2 drinks after all my jobs yesterday, but I will make up for it to day.
I did my chilli vodka yesterday; we only have a nutribullet blender, so I blitz the chillies in that along with some peppers, we will see how it turns out.
Produced another gallon of Irish for her indoors, that’s me back in the good books.
After I have sorted myself out and walked the dug I am going to have a look at infusing some tinned peaches.

As a trucker you must be aware that taking selfies while driving can be dangerous?
Even if you have a broomstick on the throttle to keep your throttle foot moving around?

Re: What I Did Today
I stripped my second generation of UJSSM, the cornie was almost full and I had 3 litres of strip in a DJ that was from my attemp at an AG Bourbon so I decided to add it to the cornie to fill it up.
While rinsing out the demijohn I got a really nice wiff of JD just for a second, I impressed my self somewhat and went to bed with a smile
I'm definitely going to make an AG mash with just barley and rye, once stripped, I'll add it to my UJSSM spirit run to give it that bourbonishness it needs.

I've done the same....and I don't know why....put it to one side and throw it into the next strip...that's what I did.

Re: What I Did Today
Everything has come to a stop in my very cramped set up, run out of wash until the end of next week.
Parrot has turned up and I have got a sieve, looking at building some sort of sputnik so I can have a bash at gin making.
I will spend some time over the next day or so upgrading my setup and preparing for Crimbo.

Just home from a Martin Stephenson & the Daintees Gig.
Possibly the best night out that I have paid for.
Now chillin' in a good frame of mind.

Re: What I Did Today
I had an odd moment this morning. Last night I ran an Aquarium Sealant round the internal joints of a freezer, on the grounds that if fish can survive it long-term then so can a mash or two. What I didn't do was read the small print, "liberates acetic acid on cure". Had I known, I'd not have left the lid shut all night and then leaned in to look this morning. I reckon the air in there was saturated with acetic acid vapour. The aluminium lining survived but it doesn't half make your eyes water. The kitchen fan has cleared the problem.
I'll half-fill it with plain water in a few minutes and see if it's properly water-tight.
