Turbo Carbon, is it needed?

Hi all i was wondering if it is totally necessary to use turbo carbon in a wash if using the ss air still ive seen some people not using it on how to videos and it has made me wonder.

Personally I found the mess too much hassle but each to their own - I never noticed much if any difference to be honest.

Thanks for your reply jimmy. Anything that is unnecessary and can save me a few bob if i don't use it is worth knowing about.

I tried classic without carbon and IMHO it wasn't as good
I rave on about vodka star which you deff don't use carbon.only use some classic for whiskey recipes now

In the early days I found the carbon necessary with any of the serious Turbos but these days I wouldn't touch Turbos with the exception of Vodka Star which isn't a real Turbo.

My VS washes take 5-7 days to finish completely in temp controlled environment and no messy carbon - hardly Turbo standard IMHO that's the only way to lose the cost of buying bags of activated carbon.
