The Essencia Carbon Filter uses superglue - safety concerns?
Hi All,
First post. I was planning to try the Essencia carbon filter to see if makes my product better. However - I see from this forum that the maker now superglues the carbon filter lid down to try and stop people from refilling it.
Given that acetone dissolves superglue, and that our distilled product will have a small amount of acetone in it, doesn't this mean our final filtered product would have a small amount of dissolved superglue in it?
Maybe I'm being paranoid. Or perhaps not - would appreciate feedback from someone who knows about this stuff. I don't like the idea of drinking superglue!
