I'm posting this here as not sure where it best fits...I've got a couple of long plastic spoons that I've used for years.
One thing about them is they easily bend when used in hotter water..ok for using in a sugar wash after you've add the cold water.

I've been thinking about buying a new brew paddle, to go with the BM...now I'm in a quandary....do I go stainless steel?


Or a wooden one?




What do you guys think

Use a stainless steel one, it will leave a long lasting impression.

Must admit I haven't looked at it that way before...

deffo stainless steel, shit wont stick to it like a wooden one . Got mine from hop and grape about a couple of years ago for about £25, you certainly wont bend that fekker.

I use a ss catering spoon. But I do like the idea of extra long.... But how long is that exactly?

I think I'll run with the SS one.

Same one also comes in white food grade nylon.

I use a 23 inch (58cm) stainless steel shoe horn.

Cost well under a fiver from Aldi or Lidl and has never been used for any other purpose.
