Amyloglucosidase300

In order to get some of this i had to buy a silly volume 5kg.. and as its used at 3-8g per hectolitre!!!! and has a 12month shelf life when kept chilled i have a wee bit spare, anyone want any??
Amyloglucosidase 300 is derived from a selected strain of Aspergillus sp. Potential applications
include production of highly attenuated low carbohydrate beers.
♦ Increased attenuation
♦ Improved fermentability of worts
♦ An alternative to priming sugar
This enzyme is used to produce glucose, starting from the non-reducing ends of starch chains and
dextrins. In brewing the result of enzymic action is the increase of the fermentability of wort. α-
Amylase side activity in this product will also very slowly hydrolyse 1,6 α-glucosidic linkages.
There are also very small quantities present of transglucosidase and acid protease (hemicellulase).
The enzyme is optimally active at normal wort and beer pH values, although it is rapidly inactivated
at temperatures above 80°C. Amyloglucosidase 300 can be added to the kettle or fermenter to create
low carbohydrate super-attenuated beers. Alternatively, it can be added to the mash converter to
improve fermentability or to change the sugar spectrum of the resultant wort. Another use for the
enzyme is the replacement of priming sugar additions to bottled beers. Glucose is produced from
oligosaccharides giving rise to an increase in perceived dry/sweetness character.

Sounds like you got a lifetime supply there, shame it only got a 12 month shelf life, you might only need 3-8g per hectolitre but I'm guessing you can just use a flat teaspoon in an 25 litre batch without any adversity.
When's the use by date

not arrived yet so no stamped use by date to go by.. i was going by the info pdf which states stored at 0-3C it will last 12months before starting to deterorate but when it starts to decay its a steady nominal drop in performance if i am reading the document correctly so after 24months a significantly higher dose will be needed.. the info is in the sheet but not in a form im used to reading so i may not have the right end of this particular stick..

Its a liquid i think. the delivery has not yet arrived so ??
metrics used in the info pdf are in mass units?
my needs are for a nominal proportion i have since been pointed at single use sachets at 60p each from an online brewshop

to distribute i have some ex pop pet bottle i clean and chemically sanitise (5star starsan) to store yeast slurry. and some 15ml (g?) vials unsutable for autoclave heat sanitation.
to pass on im thinking 40p per vial till i run out if i run out, plus actual postage
and for larger volumes £1 per 100ml/g pro rata when using sutable containers i can recycle.
if its a powder and i can bag easily in zip seal bags a flat £1 per 100g pro rata + actual pnp.
If i move all i dont need i will make a profit which i will invest in grain or sugar
..
i am also open to barter

Its arrived, and currently sat in the fridge, i will clean and sanitise a few containers for the requests i have already and get postage prices from the post office on monday lunch, at which time i can send those and the publish the pnp costs.

Just posted the latest batch, still got a couple of litres left, as im selling over a years supply for 1/2 the cost per single dose bought from the brewshops
£1 per 100g vs £1.99 per 5g .. grab it while u can, PnP less than £4 for upto 400g.
For those waiting sorry for the delay but i wanted to first ensure the first batch sent out all arrived ok no leaks etc, and the PO isnt a very convenient journey ..eventually however its on its way....

good to hear get it stuck in the fridge to maximise shelf life.. it was sent within an hour of pulling from the fridge here..
