Hi from Tasmania,
This seems like a great comunity after looking at a few around the place, not many like the T500 of which i a newbie.
Had the gear for about 3 weeks now and have made a TPW and standard classic 8 turbo, currently have a classic 8 turbo wash going split into Half with 2 x 23 ltr washes.

Re: Welcome to the forums!
mate,
its all good here, even for a Taswegian turbo user
,
and (honestly) I DO get that the nature of certain other forums to take the p#ss re you chosen distilling entry point is not attractive.
OK, get into it and please tell us what you think as you go about the diff washes, etc.

Now't wrong with the 500....lot of us on here started off with one...there's a few mods for it on here.

Welcome, nice to have someone else from far away around these parts! I think that quite a few on here do have the T500 but don't tend to talk much about it. The AirStill probably needs a bit more care and effort to get a good result.

Indeed,
Have fun playing and producing with your chosen equipment, no-one laughs here, we like to help if we can.
If your questions aren't already answered in the archives then ask them.
Actually, we do like to laugh here, so do share any appropriate images or jokes.
Robert.

Re: Welcome to the forums!
Welcome! I use a SmartStill and as Mash says, if you follow the instructions here you can produce some respectable spirits. It is a pot still, so you are not going to get the purest of pure Vodka type drinks from it. But you can get quite close with good carbon filtering.
