newbie showing his thanks to all on the ss forum
HI all.. may i say a big thanks to all contributors and to the admin and creator of this forum
i have found that "instructions" from Airstill site dont help that much damn i could have one big headache and tummy upset right now! turbo classic & carbon is out the window
(..well maybe ill use my last pack of carbon in a painting or artwork...)
Due to the help of you guys answering my questions or correcting my wrongs ive gained a small bit of really nice tasting neutral..(first wash and run ever) estimate 4-5 ltrs when diluted of 50% ABV
As advised i needed to read more posts, I Did that, even going back to posts from 2012..
this is where i say thanks and well done all who have been here for years, probably seeing the same mistakes made just as you probably did.. repeatedly and tirelessly giving the same advise in some cases lol..
but in doing so are helping out many who seek to get into home distilling.. many starting as i did with the airstill, some with t500 questions and others who have even mastered making there own or owning braumiesters or grain fathers..
what i do like here is that even disagreements can be resolved politely and there is a certain amount of banter between friends and members alike all here for the same thing making alcohol.. yes we aint popcorn suttons. but i found here its great to learn from experience or inexperience to gain a result without drastic mistakes or damage to our health or safety
i would also like to say that for any other newb to the site.. feel comfortable.. ask questions and if anything else is more important its DO SOME READING..
ive found so much information in roughly the time it took to ferment a wash and run an airstill.. and finally can say im producing safe to drink Liquor..
THANKS GUYS AND GALS happy drinking and thinking
good clean neutral/ ABSINTHE flavours/small dose of simple syrup/45% abv
im happy and 20 quid better off..
mash. easydrinker, anavrin and all else salute, cheers, bottoms up, nas dravie,

Thanks for the glowing write-up, that's what it's all about. You've started down the road in this hobby of ours, it'll only get better.

I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

And you will need a bigger shed, or need to upsize your home!
