After all the help I've received from you guys I thought it only fair to put a bit back in so I donated a fiver towards site running costs but was just wondering if it's been received??

Who's the site owner Jimmy? I notice on his profile he hasn't been on for ages, has he been banged up?

Jimmy is a busy guy,with a life away from this baby of a site that he started a few years ago.
When he is needed,like Superman he comes back and fixes site crashes,and the like.
To the best of my knowledge he is not trying to build a saleable asset.
I personally pay yearly subscriptions to this site,because I value it.
I think it would be good if a few more people here would give some of the cash that they save from home production of alcohol to the site,it may help Jimmy,and it may help fund a smarter,better server.
Just my honest opinion.

OK, while I am here,let's try this;
A few more donations may allow the site owner to give an option of "donated to site" or all of the grades of distiller based upon post number,which seems to be so important to some members here.
I often have the thought that some users here don't wish their awarded status of "useless distiller" downgraded to "donated to Still Smart"
But maybe that is just me.

Correct, there is nothing in our hobby that will cause blindness. Blindness is caused by people adulterating the product with other compounds, like methanol.
