Well I woke up thinking today is the day for my first run only to see that the mash still hasn't cleared using turbo clear. Guess I have to wait

24 hours is a very optimistic expectation - I know that's what it says on the pack

but they all make wild outlandish claims about how fast their, yeast, still or finings, etc, work.
Give it a few days in cold conditions, preferably with the fermenter on cold concrete, and before you know it you'll find your mother had a brother called Robert

Checked the SG on a SS Turbo it is at 1020 so doing good, still bubbling away at day 7 so it will sit for a few more days.
Checketd the batch of RoboStill's rum aka RoboRum, I had to place an aquarium heater in it to kick start it but it id churning away very well, SG at 1020 at day 7 so it will sit for a few more days to, I will let it ferment and then clear on its own,
also filtered 1L of spirits for to mix up,,

Went shopping at our local brew shop and pick up some supplies. I picked up some bitter orange peels , sounded interesting, also got some juniper berries and coriander for my first attempt at gin. I need to start researching how to make gin using my t500, I know there have been some post about it.

I use the bitter orange peels in my gin for part of the citrus note.
