What I Did Today
Re: What I Did Today
I guess it wasn't me that got deleted?
Today I got my specs fixed, so can annoy you again after trying to lift 25 litres of wash and failing with said specs on the same bench.
In wider off topic stuff wifey has a new mobility scooter, I have new specs oredered and paid for and back on topic I have increased from 2 to 3 x 23-25 litre washes at a time.
First recent homebrew beer kit attempt is awful and will be chucked in the still. Partly bad because I tried to stretch it to a full 40 pints and partly because my tap water just isn't nice.

Re: What I Did Today
I am in the process of finishing my first filtering run using the Exsencia. Over a week to run 13 and a bit demijohns, not overly impressed with the speed, but the produce is much improved.
Because I am pushed for space I either have to have the still or the filter running, so hopefully will have the still running again tomorrow.
I will now have a read at the input on refilling the charcoal filter and will be planning to do filtering runs more regularly, say every 5 or 6 demijohns.

The brew shed has landed, all 16'x8' of it.
Well front bit 8'x12' is mine.
Walls door and roof will all be insulated and boarded
as will the floor.

Looking among my project basket bits and pieces... I have now increased the proposed shed to 8' x 16' to take into account the afore mentioned project basket.
Hope the shed goes well...

Re: What I Did Today
That’s it; filtering finished, cleaned up, still running again, and Turbo cleared a brew. All before breakfast.
Ordered a replacement brew bin yesterday, old one gave me at least 10 years service, so can’t complain. I also visited Aldi for some peach slices to make snaps.
I will do very little on the booze front over the weekend so concentrate on my ukulele and got my big boys club tomorrow afternoon, and possibly fishing on the Sunday.
Then it will be back to the grind stone on the Monday, the pears to get going and 6 sleeping jars of Christmas infusions to work.

I am sure my TDL is longer..
Robert.
Sorry Robert was in a dyslexic fit this morning, it should have been 365 things in my JTD file , one for every day of the week...
