Gervin Universal Wine Yeast
HI All.
im startting a wash tonight and was gonna use wine yeast. im not sure of the max alcohol output so does anyone know how how much sugar is should use? i was gonna use 26 litres and follow the double distil method.

If you're intending to use wine yeast and sugar you'll also need to add nutrients.

while they make lots and lots of nice alcohol for you to distill.

Probably not, that is a lot for regular wine yeast. Champagne yeast might make it. Even 6 Kg might be pushing it. And pushing it often leads to bad tastes. 5 Kg is safe, but you get less alcohol. 5Kg in 23L is what I aim for.
