peach schnapps
so i bought 2 tins of tesco peachs in syrup and put them into the blender and smashed them to pulp
then added 700ml of neutral and 300ml of tropical juice drink and left to steep for 7 days, strained it all off last night through muslin cloth and i must say its very very nice with a real natural peach flavour.
very happy

I'd get a shed load of sugar in there too, peach snaps is extremely sweet, the sugar normally crystallises around the top of the bottle cap.

If you want to experiment... try dried peaches. I did and it was wonderful. Dried mango (Thai is first choice, Cebu in Philippines is second) is also excellent. Apricot was OK, cherries did not please. Somehow they worked out better than fresh fruit. I have not tried tinned.
