Re: tapatalk
No, I believe if I activated that then people would need to pay for the app to be able to use their phone to browse the forum.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Do you use your phone to come on here? Do you use this app elsewhere?

Re: tapatalk
You can still browse without the app (on iOS anyway). I don't use it and I can brows the Aussie site with no problems - you just get a message that there is an app available, but you can hit cancel and carry on as normal.

I've download Tapatalk only last week for free. The first time I looked at it there was a fee, but it's now free.
HERE
edit..I do use it during the day if I can't get on the laptop, I find it handy.

I use my phone to browse the forums a lot, and while I used to have tapatalk installed, I binned it as it was a PITA.
I spotted this one and was gonna pipe up that it's free now, but Icefever has got there ahead of me.......
Oh and I prefer not to use tapatalk as it was a pain for adding posts/pictures/etc too some forums. I prefer just using the browser "as is".
Though if Jim did activate that facility, I'd happily try it again. Just that I'd make sure about which forums it could look at (and remember to turn my phone onto silent at night so I didn't get too many prompt warnings for new messages - Michael Caine "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off").....

Re: tapatalk
Could we take another look at allowing the forum to run on tapatalk? Im always glancing at this site at work but its a pain to use as I do use tapatalk for other forums. its free and its easy to upload images, get notifications etc.

I'm with the converts ( makes a change
) Tapatalk is really handy and easy to use. Yes participating through a phone sized image isn't the best but if you want to do some serious browsing or posting go through a PC . I find I post more often and spontaneously with Tapatalk. Posting photos with is easier than with a PC and YouTube clips come up embedded rather than as a link.
Only downside is its hard to search but it's an alternative not the only way.
Yes get it !
