Wow.
That seems expensive for what is quite a straightforward build.

You would also need a spirit hydrometer.

Perhaps im missing something, but it says at the bottom of the description, that it’s not suitable for the alembic still!

I do believe that is because its designed to fit directly onto the outlet of the condenser column and not on the Alembic output tube that's all.

Can use it in either if you make a wooden base for it.
I think you can do better if you surf the thingy web.

My buddy just made me this up whilst i was away..




All the bits i got from eBay except for 2 bits from local plumb shop .
The fancy spiral is just the 6mm pipe slowly wrapped around a wine bottle it took me 2 mins to do very easy ,then just got my buddy to get his blow lamp out (he is way better than me at stuff like that).

Nice one. Get your buddy to teach you to solder. It's a very rewarding and complimentary skill with this hobby.
