Re: What I Did Today
@Easy D:- Thanks, but about 10 years too late. I dont have the energy or the inclination to build and develop another company/distillery. I put too much time and money into the first round and that was fine at the time. But not now.
As the saying goes:- I own and operate the oldest and largest rum distillery in China. It may not always be the largest, but will always be the oldest. (The fact that it is the only one is beside the point.)
@goog. Will do mate.
@Gaza. Come on over and try it. Sanya is not such a bad place for a holiday. 1.4 billion Chinese cant be wrong. Google it.

Thanks for letting me know RJ, Sydney is a little far away. I was hoping for Melbourne or Adelaide. Well done on getting your rum out there though.

Re: What I Did Today
Today I stomped my little Mod Jackboot.
I quite like the way this forum has evolved from the day that I joined.
It used to be very regimented, these days it is more casual, and some threads and posts meander.
That is fine, we are all here for fun.
However, I took exception to some posts being posted in totally the wrong thread, and moved them.
As one of the over-lookers here, I do not wish to see the site descend into some version of anarchy, with a total free for all.
Janitors are seldom appreciated, but do tend to keep things ticking along.
Happy stillin'
Robert.

Re: What I Did Today
Today I got my heavily peated Scotch whisky dissed, with humour (that really helped), by someone working in one of my favourite distilleries.
BURNING FLUID
Take 4 quarts alcohol, and 1 quart spirits of turpentine; mix well
together, and it is ready for use.
If I didn't have a thick skin that could have scarred me for life.
Methinks they fear the competition.
Robert.

Re: What I Did Today
2 Liters UJSSM bottle, oaked for 4 month with Irish bog oak just shattered into peaces on concrete sheds floor, because I was just to lazy to pick flash light with me and accidentally kicked bottle. Honestly feel sad and only one to blame is me. Hope someone will learn from my lazy mistake.
