Build your own parrot........
Yes, I know that someone (sorry can't find the thread, or remember who posted it) was building parrots etc, but I'm also getting mails from the yahoo distillers and new_distillers groups.
This link was posted about how to build a parrot and the info/drawing is pretty good. Most of the materials are easily available etc, so I thought I'd post it for some of you to have a look/think about......

i amended a glass trial jar
carefully drilled the requisite holes
and used a burner to stick two glass tubes either side
tethered them to the jar and its sturdy as f
i knew chemistry a-level would come in handy

taped over the glass before drilling
a friend got me the thin glass tubes
bends like a good thing and stuck to the trial jar a treat after heatin the end
i'd done it before i realised i'd thought it up meself
