I have a bottle of top shelf whisky I made that I now know I didn't do the cuts well on and can taste the heads... Part of the learning curve
Can I re distil it as a spirit run and remove the flavour enough to do better cuts?
Was thinking about adding it to my heads run.

Any time you do a still upgrade you might need to do this a few times to try and find thew sweet spot for your still - especially on a pot still.
Sometimes if you are running different products it varies also. You can always put the distillate back in the boiler and do it again.
In fact I know one person that buys cheap whisky and then re-distils it to make a more drinkable product. For him that is more cost effective than fermenting himself - and in his situation it takes less space. It works for him.
