Flavourings or botanicals
This can go for any spirit, you guys who have tried both especially gin what in your opinion gives the better taste, spirit run with botanicals infused or stepped or packet bought flavourings.
I have not had the pleasure of either up to now but would like to try both.

Did more than a few bottles to prove this to myself.
Botanicals & a basket. Best results & scalable & quick. I have tried and disregarded concentrates and steeping.
I think ED is trying essential oils.

Re: Flavourings or botanicals
I have gone the way of steeped and distilled juniper.
And messing with essential oils for the rest of the flavour.
It is taking an age to come up with one that I like, not been in a Gin frame of mind recently.
Must try harder!
Robert.

Is the implication here that there will be many failings?
