Aye.

I think as well as the question on registration Jimmy needs to enable captcha as well.

Spam is the pube in the soup of life.

They must have updated their techniques, it has been pretty quiet up to now but something has changed in the past few days. I'll sort it! :)

Tried a new anti-spam method but we still had one tonight so going to try a more involved one... it's a pain but hopefully it'll help.

Jimmy, we setup a custom profile field that is required.
It has a minimum requirement of 6 characters, this along with the captcha has all but stopped the spammers.
Hope this helps.
PS, we also dumped cloudflare for reasons I wont go into here.

We did have a simple question and answer which was working OK but looks like they cracked it. I've switched to a Re-Captcha but we still had a spam post tonight - looks like there were some dormant users that had registered a week or so back and were waiting to start spamming. Therefore I've deactivated any accounts that were registered but had never posted - sorry if that affects any genuine users but you should be able to reactivate or else drop me a line and I'll sort it out.
