I think these have been mentioned on here before.
Why not simply chop up some bits of scrap copper pipe?
Equally lengths of scrap (UK) household wiring, stripped of insulation and coiled,(takes minutes),does the same thing.
You can even fashion them into a favorite shape - I am still working on "boil monkey"!

Hm. Interesting, so you are basically just running the batch through a sieve with the botanicals in it. I bet if this were a tube with meshed or perforated ends full (but not packed ) with the infusion stuff, that might work too. Might get a little better coverage. I saw something like this that was a copper tube with one end sealed, then a bit of pipe angled off it about midway. So the tube would fill partially and then overflow into collection.

I think I am getting the gist of it.
