I'm not so sure, looks to me like you could squeeze a kitten into that infuser.
To me the question is how much neutral you could put beneath it, without water logging/spirit logging it in the air still; and alien owns this kit already,so definitely worth a go.

Hmm, maybe you could at that - but I can get most of a cat into my Sputnik! The jury has to be out, but I think Mash mad a good point about the vapour path.
Cat gin?? No no no, definitely NOT going to try that one.

It already has stubby little legs to hold it clear of the base of a saucepan, I just slid 125mm copper tubes over those and crimped them with a pair of pliers.

Well I used this today and have to say it worked well. I done two different Gins with it and they are far superior to the ones I used the bottles of essences.
I am new to this hobby but im loving it. Next project I am going to have a go at making one of my 30litre crusader kegs into a still.

I assume from your post that your own idea was a success?
Hot diggety, let that be a lesson to you, folk here mean well, but often know less than you do
Talking lots and saying Jack ain't worth a jot.
Best wishes with the still build, this hobby does kind of grab you!
And hereabouts any experienced member will welcome a new member full of enthusiasm and new ideas. Keep yours coming.
Especially if they are dafter than mine
