I've not tried mine as yet...but I'm doing a run tomorrow..(fingers crossed) and will try a small jar just to see what their like.

Have tried both maceration and neuk, both work very well. Added 50ml of JD, which I had in the booze cabinet from years ago, its a very good clone.

I have just put a good brown Ale on. Old Peculiar style....with some JD chips !

It's quite subtle. I have done it with French oak in the past. It is an attempt recreate a vintage IPA that would have been barreled for a few weeks.

Nice choice Easydrinker. Am just about to put on a Russian Imperial Stout. Only a kit,but a flippin good one from LB. It isn't cheap but its really good
