Wait until bubbling has stopped then degass it by stirring quickly until there is no more fizzing.
Then you will need to let it clear either by being patient and waiting a few days or by using finings.
You should definitely not be running it tomorrow

You be able to see if bubbles are still rising on the surface of the liquid you can also hear them.
No filtering will not do the job, if you are in a rush use turboklar or similar and it will clear in 24hrs.

Rack your brew off most of the sludge at the bottom of the fermenting vessel.
Put somewhere cool for a few days and rack into your still.
If you are impatient be sure to use some sort of conditioner and some brew pieces.
The advice doled out here is often hard earned, but is just advice.
There are no rules.
Sometimes people learn the hard way.

Turbo clear is fine

It will clear faster in a cool place.

You already seem to be doing fine at the patience thing. You'll enjoy your first drops and want to improve on them.

I'm glad you can already tell that a double run is better than a single one. Hate to say we told you so, but ...

Slight smells will go with longer airing.

Lack of bite (on nose or mouth) proves you've avoided heads. Just remember you'll likely drink a little more than usual as lack of bite will fool you into thinking it's not as strong.

Hopefully now you are discovering what we said about the fun of experimenting and learning in practice.

edit, forgot to say, the still spirits spiced rum is really very good as you say. Less than Captain Morgans in a good way. I'm going to try it with just a tiny bit of orange peel in the bottle or a slice of orange in my drink)

Also, tomato puree is a bit on the acid side, depending on your water. You may find that for the sake of a quid, you want a tub of baking soda/bicarbonate of soda in your brew store, just in case your ferment sticks/slows before finishing. Just chuck a sprinkle in.

Ph testing is the way to test if Bicarb. is needed.
Cheap Chinese litmus strips work well.
Ph 5.4 is a good start, I let mine finish below Ph 4.
I tend to add on day two and/or three.
