Double, Triple Distilling from Turbo 500

Novice question, I am using the Turbo 500 still. Is it necessary to distill my spirit 2-3 times (watering it down to 40% or lower each time)? Will it increase the quality of the spirit or is it just wasting time?

Yes, the quality of the spirits will increase every time you get rid of more heads and tails. But it is your time and only you can say if it has been wasted or if the difference the additional process made was worth the effort. Try it a couple of times and make your own mind up, I think you will be surprised.

A double distill improves the quality no doubt
Best thing to do if you don't have a pot head is to do 2 runs with 2 fermented washes dilute these to about 28% and that should give you around 25 litre to do a second run and then give you around 15 or so litres of usable spirit when finally diluted to 40%

Alright, sounds good. Thank you all for your help. I would rather have a high quality spirit than high quantity. I am still learning, and trying to learn everything I can so I can produce good/excellent quality spirits. I do not have a pot head for my T500.
