Deep cleaning an Airstill
I tended to keep my boiler and my copper shrapnel plenty clean, but I haven't really considered cleaning the coil?
As this is stainless would running a vinegar solution through be a good idea or perhaps citric acid? - could I cleam my shrapnel at the same time?
Any ideas welcome

Turn the lid upside down, block one end and fill the cooling tube with automatic coffee machine cleaner/descaler. It's a citric based fluid that's diluted about 3:1, I use this on my SS pipes as it doesn't corrode.
I always use a mixture of salt & vinegar for cleaning copper boil enhancers.

Always give the hardest job to the laziest person because they will always find the easiest way to do it.

When you started by saying "turn the lid up dude down" I did get nervous.
