normal sugar wash ie; 5kg sugar, you collect down to 30%
its about 5lts. So 2x wash = 3 DJ,s max. they are made of
glass so easy to clean, last forever and on Ebay 2nd hand.

Sure does. Westons make a cider that comes in 3 maybe 4 litre demijohns. They are really handy.

I'm soon to strip run 2 x 25l washes. I need something cost effective to collect them in until I do the spirit run.

I have a bunch of spent wine and spirit bottles but am concerned the fluid might be too hot from my t500 and that it will be a pain collecting in multiple bottles. I cant collect in plastic as it will leach - i thought about a big stainless soup pot but theyre about £40 or a few demijohns but theyre not cheap either..

any suggestions?

The distillate from a T500 will not damage a regular glass bottle, and unless you mess up, the distillate will be cool anyway.
Failing all else, 10 or so wine bottles could suffice for your strip.

The bigger/better question is what comfortably fits below your stills take off point?

You can make a good Funnel or of the top of a tonic cut down.

I just stick the pipe in the top of the demi, if its going too far in just move the demi further away so less pipe goes inside
