Light headed

Just a quick question, been doing this now for about 4 months but the last month seem to feel light headed all the time and feel worse day after drinking, has anyone else experienced this just trying to work out if its the drink or something else, I don't think it is the drink as I'm making quite conservative cuts getting 3 litres 40% from 24 litre wash.

The "feel worse day after drinking" might be the drink. ;D The rest is not, see a doctor.

@chaslam07
if you follow regular and reasonable distilling practices (esp hygiene issues) AND
if you are well practised in your distillation cuts and maturation processes AND
you drink your product at a suitable ABV% and rate without a bother AND...

Then at some stage, you 'have a few' etc.....
Well, IMHO, you may well be 'light headed' when you wake up and perhaps even through that day....ie you may well 'get away' with feeling a bit lightheaded the morning after as opposed to sh#thouse (if you consumed some mass produced spirit).

OK, that said, please consider
STOP DRINKIMG YOUR ALCOHOL ;)
That way, in a few days at the most, you will know the probable answer to your question....
and +1 what Chill says, please take care, pay attention, if in any doubt seek decent advice etc.

The next question is why you are hypoglycaemic (low blood sugar) although alcohol contains carbohydrates these metabolise differently to carbs from bread etc, I guess you visited your GP who tested your BM and found it low ? Was this a fasting test ( did you starve prior to it) did you drink the night before ?

Many of my patients whom are diabetic and have had a skinfull the night before end up in a diabetic "hypo" so if this was a fasting blood test and you did drink the night before the reading obtained may be incorrect, this is not to say that you are not a borderline diabetic or even diabetic but it may just be enough to put you into the wrong diabetic category.

Sorry to hear that, but I am happy that you went to a doctor and got it identified.

Hi, no i hadnt drank the night before and wasnt a fasting blood test, had the test at 2.20pm after i had eaten something for dinner at 12.30, theres some things it could be but hopefully will just be hypogylcemia as think thats the best case as to whats on offer.

Sorry I still do not understand the diagnosis, are you having any follow up tests? Were you feeling light headed when the blood test was done? What was the reading from the test ? A normal BM will be between 5 and 9 but this will elevate even in a non diabetic after eating

I'm light headed and dizzy all the time, and got another test on Thursday, blood sugar was 2.2 which is pretty bad I believe but still alive so will see what happens after the next test.
