There is condensation forming in the neck of the bottles of gin I made. What's causing this? Still tastes fine!
It's 42% abv, I achieved that by watering it down using still highland spring water.

I should add that it's not running down the bottle, just a faint mist on the glass.

There are some tiny bubbles of air clinging to the inside of the bottles as well, I wonder if this is to do with the way I watered it down, It was still warm when I chucked water at it and then immediately bottled it.

The tiny (micro) bubbles on the inside I quite
often get with Vodka. They do seem to go in a
couple of days.

Do you think commercial gins and vodkas use an additive to stop that happening?

Someone told me they use a cold filter
system???
Some of the kit they use in mass production is
amazing and far from our reach financially.
But we can personnalise our Gins to our liking!!

I have found the gin improves with standing a few days, and the effervescence goes too.
Perhaps having a glass with ice and lemon under the still is a bit soon.

I'm sure you guys will step in and tell if I am wide of the mark here.
Take said bottle, with bubbles and condensation, shake it up and show it who is boss.
It may take 48 hours to comply, but it will.
Well, mine do.
Robert.
