Pear drops work well. Rhubarb and Custard is also worth a try. Never thought of cola cubes - let us know how it turns out.
Some recommend putting the bottle with sweets and neutral in the dishwasher on a normal wask cycle (obviously put the cap on the bottle

) as this can dissolve all the sugary stuff without breaking your arm shaking it.
Cheers

Tried Murray mints in 60% abv then let down to 40% ......worked well, but had to chuck it away it was absolutely horrid. Might be ok for the youngsters as ‘shots’ but I’ve never really se3n th3 point of that malarkey

Am I wrong in asking people to stop mixing sugar and distilled Ethanol?
It can be a great treat.
It is the discipline to leave it alone that is the biggy.
So much to be said here, but I will bite my tongue.

Merely trying to say that the more nice tasting alcoholic drinks you have lying around, the harder it is to resist them.
Well, that is my experience.

Tried with some Werthers original hard toffees
over Xmas. Made a very tasty caramel Vodka.
Needed a good shake b4 pouring as it kept
separating.

Cola cubes do actually work quite well if thats your thing although expect plenty of sediment, I wonder if you used lockets and neutral would help the symptoms of man flu?
