I've used vitamin (B Complex) before, but they make a smell during the stripping run and I have been banned from using them.

Thw vitamin you need is B1.

Given my latest result. I am not sure if I will do a lentil wash ever again.

Being a bit non-conformist,for a neutral I favour yellow split peas,Allinson's and sugar,and a handful of raisins.
Costs about £3.50 for a 25 litre wash.And yields about 8.5 litres at 30% easy tasting stripped wash in about four days.
Life is not just about neutral spirit though,and some of the other washes that I run,while being more work,yield more interesting results.

B1 comes as a white power. Tastes bitter. 50g is £2 ish on ebay. It lasts for ever.

Technically 60mg/hl = 30mg in 50l

However I use 1/2 gram in 50l - 'cos it easy and it get boiled later on....

You need some accurate scales.
