Interesting thread. My head starts very very slowly these days and then gradually builds up speed.
Ive found a UK outlet (not Argos I hasten to add lol) that sells the fuse, switch and most other parts including the head for £59 and the bottom inc heating element for £119...

EDIT: Just noticed they also have some interesting distillers for sale. Anyone familiar with the larger countertop ones on this site?
