What's the power of the boiler
Always give the hardest job to the laziest person because they will always find the easiest way to do it.

Vino is correct in asking for boiler size.
That and column dimensions should be matched.
I am more curious in your phrase "to get rid of Sulphides"
Where do you think that they go?
They can only latch onto copper, until it no longer can hold them.
Then it needs cleaning.
Different brews/mashes produce Sulphides in different amounts.
Strip runs tend to leave your copper clean, Spirit runs tend to dirty it pretty good.
Alternating runs can keep your copper cleanish.
Expect some run-off of crud.
Copper pieces in the boiler can be easier to clean, just drop them in Citric Acid for awhile after a spirit run.
Just trying to help.
Robert.

There is no ONE way.

Thanks for the replies the boiler is an old tea urn stainless steel 30l with a new 3kw element fitted and the thermostat bypasses with an ssr and potentiometer to control power, sorry for the phrase get rid of sulphides I meant to get rid of them from my final product I understand I need to clean the still properly each time but will that amount of copper remove the sulphides from my product I'm starting with sugar washes
