T500 water supply from a shower fitting..
The best place for me to run the T500 is in the bathroom but I\'ve got a strange size mixer tap and haven\'t been able to use the needle valve supplied with the T500.
So - I got the 20 mm adaptor for the T500 hoping that this would convert to something and found the thread is a 3/4\" bsp female thread. This fits practically nothing in our house but would work with a garden hose...
When I\'ve run the T500 I\'ve been using either the tap adaptor that came with the reflux or a barbed adaptor that goes on a shower fitting.
A quick trip round B&Q plumbing section today found a 1/2\" female to 3/4\" male connector.
So - remove the shower hose from the mixer tap, screw the female end of the adaptor onto the mixer tap, wrap a bit of PTFE tape around the the thread, screw the 20mm still spirits onto that and the needle valve onto that and it makes a lovely water tight fitting
I hope this helps someone else out as it was a real pain finding something that worked !!

Thanks for the tip MrCat - I\'ve been in the same boat and was wondering whether the shower mixer could work. I don\'t suppose you have the product number for the adapter from B&Q do you?

I kept the package but there is no code on it.
It's a plumbsure multi-fit bush 1/2" female * 5/8" female * 3/4" male
Bar code is 0389 3159.
I'll see if I can find the receipt and get the code off that

Thanks MrCat that should be more than enough information to track it down. Cheers!
