Nope, first I've heard of it, but now thinking about taking a punt, as I'm not a big scotch drinker but some of the single malts I've tasted are good.

Plus the SS single malt essence is my fave for the scotch type ones (others have tasted the blended scotch one in the green pack and liked it but not me).......

TVM for bringing it to our attention etc........

Any reports on this, positive or otherwise? Especially in an Air Still?

I'm planning to punt on this in a few weeks and I'll report back, but I'm thinking not to use the supplied Turbo Clear and to let it clear naturally in the cold if possible.

Hi there,
I can offer no advice on Barrel 674.
I am all for allowing to settle/clear naturally where we can,but have no real issue with Turbo clear.
However it tastes in the end, if it has finished fermenting, and has cleared, the Airstill will work fine, and behave as it should.
I do own one, it seldom surprises ;)

Robert.

Many thanks Robert. The kit is just barley wine really so I'm sure that part is ok It's been a real surprise to me that it is possible to do this on an air still (lots of bad information out there) so at some point soon I'll give this a go and report back.
