TBH, at £1.25 a bottle in most supermarkets, I really can't be arsed to make my own.
Many years since I made beer.
Never had serious brewing gear, and don't wish to invest now.
Catching a single mole buys 10 or so beers.
And this is the middle of mole trapping season, sometimes 10 a day now the snow has gone.
And then I have my 3 shredded wheat. :D

HOw many do you have to trap to make a pai4 of moleskin trousers ?
On a serious note.....how, exactly, does one trap a mole?

I use only "barrel traps", I never got on with the "scissor" variety.
When you have dug between a couple of molehills and found a tunnel, set your trap, cover it well and inspect sometime after 4 hours later.
That is the short version.
The long one is VERY long.

I agree scissor traps don't work for me either.

Interesting you mentioned the tunnel I set under the hill. Also have a Phos ticket for when the gets though but much prefer trapping. Save that for the wabbits.
