This may have been asked.
Has anyone used honey to flavour their drinks sort of like the
Jack Daniels honey?
My wife bought me a miniature of it and it was bloody lovely.
I have loads of spirit that was aged on jd chips and while I am
About to start experimenting I just wondered if anyone else had tried and what their
Results were.
I currently have 200ml of aged spirit in the fridge that I've added 20ml of honey to
I'm starting at a 4:1 mix.
I know it won't be anything like the JD honey but I'm not after a clone,
It just got my taste buds smiling

Ok guys. Tried it last night and am blown away.
The wash was a lentil let down to 45%
It's bloody lovely. Nothing like the JD Tennessee honey and I'm over the moon.

The cloudy aspect will settle close to the bottom over time (in the unlikely event that it should last that long).

Thank you chill I did wonder about the cloudiness.
Another problem is checking the abv as adding the honey changes the density of the spirit
So my alchometer is useless
