I picked up 4 jars of this in Tesco yesterday

Going to try fermenting a 4.5 litre batch and see how it comes out.

Lemon curd wine anyone?

Back in my old argumentative days, :o , I did a cheap mixed fruit jam wash and distilled it.
I totally forget how it turned out!
I still have a few jars of said jam, I may have to try it again...
I remember it fermented like a monster.

Started a 5 litre lemon curd wash this afternoon. Found jars of Sainsbury's Basics lemon curd for just 30p a jar so used that for the first try.

I used 4 jars, about 200g of brown sugar, a handful of crushed bran flakes soaked in boiling water, a pinch of pectolase (no idea if that was require) and bakers yeast.

It's bubbling happily away now and smells gorgeous.
