I think the triumphant bouquet of a nicely peated single malt whisky that you made yourself beats that.

Finally got a couple more brews going.
The supply of product has been slowing down recently, busy doing other stuff.

'busy doing other stuff' is, I suspect, Robert's code for imbibing what he has on hand.... ;D

LOL :D :D :D
I will admit that I can drink it faster than I can make it.
Which is kind of worrying, as I can now ferment 150 litres at any one time.
Sad thing is that I fall out of bed in the morning, breathalise self, earn a wage, eat evening meal, drink too much, go to bed.
Reality is that if I could discipline self to start more brews in late evening, and then run them quicker, I would have a surfeit of booze.
Hey ho, I do what I can.
Others have tougher shit to deal with.
My life is not so bad.

If you can't find the space indoors, build or adapt a shed.
Indoors is best as I can half watch crap TV while doing the do.
I still struggle to keep up to possible production levels.

I need to experiment again with a continuous still....connected to a continuous fermentor.

It's the continous cleaning in between which has me beat.
I can't re-use the brew bins as emptied, and the still does need a skoosh between runs.
Not to mention my Copper bits. ;D

I store my fermenters (in fact most vessels) with a splash of spirits in them, after a breif rinse. No need to wash. I then recycle it.

But you do need to wash the scud first? No?
Always liked your idea of storing vessels with pickle.

Yes but only with tap water.

I don't possess any OCD home brew "sterilise the beejeebers out of it" chemicals.

Just made my first malted barley wash. Already bubbling. Expect about 6% abv. Used t500 boiler for mashing with mashing bag and dimer to adjust temperature in boiler. Used SS Distillers whiskey yeasts. Kitchen floor sticky, mess everywhere, but looking forward to taste final product very much!
