New member, clamps fallen off

Hi Guys,

Have come across this site today, so though I'd jump in and join the conversation !

I've had a t500 for a while now, since they came out more or less in fact. Must admit it's a great bit of kit.

The only problem I've had is that I've lost two of the clamps from the boiler. I told Lovebrewing but since it's way beyond its warranty they can't help.

Any one else lost any of the clamps and if so any clever ways to re-attach them ?

First of all welcome to the forum...

You can get the spring clips off the Bay...

There easy to fix with ss nuts & bolts....work a treat. ;)

I believe the Guy at lovebrewing has lost his exclusive deal to be the main supplier of Still Spirits stuff in the UK.

You should see lots of HBS with more SP stuff over the next 12 months I'm guessing.

If they follow the trend they're on in this part of the world, they'll get their gear into hardware outlets. Imagine that...... :o

Anavrin knows such things. I'm glad I bought what I wanted at "old" price after price increase was predicted and came to pass.

Still Spirits website has an up to date list of local suppliers. In theory there'll finally be a little flexibility on price.

Thanks !

OK cheers, if I loose any more clamps then I'll go the nut and bolt route. I'm worried that drilling holes might cause leaks. I was watching moonshiners on Discovery and they use porridge oats LOL

If you need a gasket/sealant, take a look at HA6, available on the bay, and having read it's spec. sheet, it ticks all my boxes and is my go to.
