I think beans are mainly protein so not much use on their own if you were planning to use in place of grain or are you making a sugar wash and adding beans as nutrients, Easydrinker uses lentils....

It sounds a worthy experiment to me.
I would pose the question to the forum hoping Easydrinker takes the bait asking what is so special about lentils as a nutrient and could other beans or pulses offer similar or greater nutrition to yeast and would certain types of yeast benefit from certain beans or pulses.

I don't see anything special about Lentils as a yeast food, but have cut down on the amount used. Only 100g /25 litre wash these days, + 50g of Sultanas or raisins, it works for me.
I don't see a problem with using your bean mix.
I did sort through the cupboard looking to try something else, but sadly used the Chick peas, which were next up, as baking beads last week, so am unsure if they will still work as yeast food.
They make great baking beads when baking a blind pastry base.
I may try using Couscous as yeast food, I have a box of that, that I will never finish.
Life is a Bagatelle.
Robert.

I’m quite a fan of kale , but for me Tomato paste at 47p a tube and a 25 litre wash only needs half a tube has to be the simplest, and the least faff.
Is there a taste difference ? I don’t really see any but accept my palette has been abused by vindaloos and Brains beer over too many years

My palette has suffered similar abuse.
A neutral is a neutral, or it isn't.
Wash and cuts, wash and cuts.
Probably more down to cuts.
