Hi fellow T500's

Thought I would do a bit of a poll, lets say you do a 25 L TPW Birwatchers

I put it in and turn it on - Takes almost exactly 1 hour to get to temp and start producing.

I then run for 2 hours by which time the flow rate has lost me the will to live so I turn it off

What sort of time do you guys run for - am I leaving to much precious product behind or is it not worth any more effort after 2 hrs????

i'm not a T500 user but i think it would depend on your water outlet temp IE run it at 50 and it would take considerably longer than if you ran it at 60-65

Don't run on time, run on quantity. If you are using a 25 litre TPW wash @ about 11% you should get 2.8 litres of 93% spirit on a stripping run if you make no cuts. How much spirit did you collect before shutting down ?

I tend to run sugar washes with vodka star yeast typically gives 16+% ABV

Takes about 1 1/4 hours to start producing and then about 3 more hours to finish

All done on output ABV and taste though
